Price Codes (Optional)
A 5-digit price code (known as “EAN-5”) can be appended to the end of an ISBN; this encoding format is referred to as EAN-13+5. These price codes only support encoding amounts for three currencies: British Pounds (GBP), US Dollars (USD), or Canadian Dollars (CAD), with a maximum encodable amount of “99.99” in the respective currency. For example, to encode $9.99 USD, the corresponding EAN-5 price code would be “50999”. Some scanning equipment can recognize these price codes, helping retailers quickly determine the suggested retail price of a book; however, please note that most scanning equipment cannot read this price code at all, and appending such a code to an ISBN is not a universal practice.
If you wish to add a price code to your ISBN, please specify your requirements (including the specific amount and currency type for the price code) in the “Additional Information” field on the Checkout page. If you require a price code for your barcode, we must generate the barcode manually (the website cannot automatically generate barcodes with price codes), and we will send it to you via email as soon as possible.

ISBN Barcode Generation Turnaround: After you place your order, the system will immediately and automatically generate the ISBN barcode images (in EAN-13 format) and send them to you via email. If you want the barcode to include a price code (i.e., using the EAN-13+5 format), we will need to generate the barcode manually and send it to you via email.
If you have printed sheet music, you must first obtain an International Standard Music Number (ISMN) before generating a barcode image. A 13-digit ISMN (e.g., 979-0-2600-0043-8) can be converted into a 13-digit EAN-13 format barcode in exactly the same way as a book’s ISBN.
